My name is Joey, and I am the proud owner of The Working K9 University. Animals have always been my life, and helping people with their pets is my passion. I am a dog mom to a working Australian Cattle Dog named Stitch. I’ve been training dogs professionally since 2013.  Since then, I have been able to help people get their dogs ready for work or help them work through challenges such as reactivity and proper socialization. I understood how heartbreaking it can be to wash a dog after working so hard for so long or how frustrating it can be to manage a reactive dog. It is my mission to help my students to be successful, their lives depend on it and relationships depend on it.
