Elvis was a client turned surrender due to unforeseen circumstances. He is a 2-year-old American Bull Staffordshire Terrier Shepherd Mix. Elvis came to me frustrated, with high arousal issues and lots of destructive energy as a young dog. He has developed into the goofiest couch potato who loves everyone. Elvis is neutered and gets along with all dogs of any size and is learning to calm his excitement around cats and birds! He is extremely food and toy motivated, easily works for his food or pets. He has a disdain for being outside in any weather, endless he has a friend to play with, but once play time is over he requires a temperature controlled environment to take naps and get butt scratches! He settles in nicely in the home but needs clear boundaries and supervision. He is extremely eager to please and would be considered a medium soft dog. He takes verbal corrections very well and when he occasionally needs more he is softer but will test boundaries regardless as he is still maturing and learning to make better choices.
